Description
A stereoscopic print of a woman standing in a dressing room. Text on the front reads "35 (b). The Toilet Powder and Puff." Text on back reads "No. 35. The Toilet Powder and Puff. A society belle in her dressing room, deftly touching up her rosy neck and shoulders with powdered swan's down. 'Beauty is but skin deep,' they say, and if so, it can be increased by adding a layer on top. But it takes an expert hand to do it right, to bring out the beauty of the skin, not to cover it up. A fine ring draws attention to an ugly hand as well as to a beautiful one. A8523". The images are printed directly onto the card, and appear to be black and white photographs colored in post-process. Card is green with black text, and the images have gold border around the edges. Corners are rounded.
